Land Sports:  Two tennis courts (lit for night play) with resident pro; table tennis; basketball; volleyball; shuffleboard; bocci ball; darts; croquet; bicycle; daily morning walks; feeding Charlie, the resident giant sea turtle; games room; golf greens fees and transportation to SuperClubs' Golf Club in Runaway Bay.

Water Sports:  Windsurfing; Sunfish; water-skiing; snorkeling; kayaking; glass-bottom boat rides; scuba with resort certification; Hobie cats; watertrikes, two swimming pools; mineral whirlpool tub; natural mineral spring pool; beach for swimming and sunbathing. Use of water sports facilities includes equipment rental and instruction.

Fitness Centre:  Complete fitness center with stationary bicycles, stair-climbing machines and treadmill equipment; aerobics, yoga, aquacize and reggae dance classes (use of all facilities includes instruction and equipment).

Beach/Pool/Jacuzzi:  There is a private beach and 2 pools. One freshwater and one mineral water. There is also a mineral water Jacuzzi. Steal away to our romantic secluded mineral water grotto.

Indoor Activities:  These include chess, puzzles, backgammon, monopoly, scrabble, pool, and a wide range of other board games to tickle your imagination.

Special Activities:  Charlie's Spa, with professionally trained staff, overlooks the Caribbean and offers massage, body scrub, facial, reflexology, sauna and natural mineral pools, as well as manicure and pedicure in the beauty salon.

DINING

At Grand Lido Sans Souci we've created the standard of excellence for Caribbean dining with more culinary awards than any other Caribbean resort. And while awards are nice, it's the day to day adherence to rigid standards that gives the Grand Lido resorts our consistent taste of excellence. Chefs trained and imported from the finest kitchens of Europe. French, Italian, Caribbean, Japanese, American and Continental cuisine. Fresh pasta. Fine wines. Desserts that are barely legal. And as always, no tipping allowed. Not ever. Breakfast and lunch buffets are lavish and beautifully presented.

Ristorante Palazzina:  Breakfast and lunch buffets featuring traditional favorites and tropical surprises. In addition, at lunch you can choose from a menu of fresh pastas with a variety of sauces. Casual, no reservations required. Open 7:30 to 10:30am and 12:30 to 3:00pm.

Casanova:  Classic gourmet French cuisine elegantly presented with European flair. Dinner only. Jackets and reservations required.

La Terrazza:  A constantly changing menu of international delights. From Italian to Seafood from Oriental to American are just some of the revolving themes. Dinner only. Casual dress. Reservations required.7:30 to 10:00 pm.

Beach Grill:  SuperSnacks and traditional Jamaican specialties open for snacks from 12 noon to 2:00 am In addition, at breakfast you can always order an omelet freshly prepared to your exact specifications. Room service awaits your call 24-hours a day while taste treats that include everything from traditional snacks like hamburgers and hot dogs to Jamaican delicacies like jerk chicken and pork, as well as gourmet delights like grilled lamb chops, sizzle night and day on our beach grills. And what's a civilized afternoon without high tea, served in the traditional English style, of course. Grand Lido. It's not just a meal. It's a feast. Every time.

ACCOMMODATIONS

7 penthouses, 126 suites and 8 verandah rooms nestled in lush tropical vegetation and over-looking the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. All suites are air-conditioned and are equipped with televisions, AM/FM radios, direct dial telephones, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, in-room safes, private terraces, refrigerators stocked with sodas, beer, water and juice, coffee and tea service. All suites also include 24 hour room service and laundry and dry cleaning service.

Verandah Suite Oceanview (8 suites): Large bedrooms with either king bed or 2 twin beds, separate sitting area on balcony.

One Bedroom Suite Oceanview (38 rooms):  All rooms have large bedrooms with separate living rooms, king beds or 2 twin beds and most have balconies as per guide.

One Bedroom Suite with Jacuzzi Tub Oceanview (58 suites): All have separate sitting area detached from the bedroom, with jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom. Most have king-size bed, while few have twin beds. All suites in this category have a balcony or patio.

Penthouse Suite Oceanview (7 suites): Separate living room and bedrooms with king or 2 twin beds. Large balconies. Five of the seven suites have a Jacuzzi.
